Shout out and congratulations to my sisters from another mister @thedragonsisters for being named the Best Breakthrough Artist and Best Duo at this year’s @glamawards! These two are unstoppable! If you have not seen them live, you are missing out - they are FIERCE AF! I was honored to meet and photograph them back in 2019 as part of my series 𝓝𝓸 𝓞𝓷𝓮 𝓒𝓪𝓷 𝓣𝓸𝓾𝓬𝓱 𝓤𝓼 in which I photographed drag performers in the NYC drag scene in various stages of drag in their homes and neighborhoods. The place of transformation that is created by drag is as empowering as it is subversive and this work is a celebration of that.
